First Build - Player Movement
Offworld Defender » Devlog
As discussed in the Game Concept Devlog, in addition to building automated defences, Offworld Defender allows the player to move around on the map to fend off enemies.
This first prototype build of the game implements basic eight-way movement for the player character and a sample wave of enemies. Note: the player is not yet able to shoot or interact with the enemies in any way as of yet (will likely be the next patch). There is also collision in place to disallow movement outside the bounds of the path.
The control scheme uses the WASD keyboard format.
