Week 2 Tutorial Exercise - Blender and Unity
For the first tutorial I was required to experiment with importing Blender assets into Unity's 3D environment. I used my penguin model alongside some models I downloaded from the Unity Asset Store to create a rather nonsensical scene involving giant party penguins in a forest. The following screenshots show the scene from a few different angles, including some in-editor images.
As you can see, I used some trees and other nature props in the scene which came from Low Poly Simple Nature Pack. Additionally, the party hats that I used in tandem with my own model came from Ultimate Hat: Party. The hills in the background were simply made using Unity primitives.
I'm looking forward to doing more with Unity and Blender together in the coming weeks.
